On 7th March 2001, Presidential Decree 445 of 28th December 2000 came into force, containing the Consolidated Law on the legislative and regulatory procedures for administrative documentation.
Certificates may be substituted by a declaration on unstamped paper and without the necessity of authentication of the signature. This declaration must be accompanied by a valid proof of identity.   

  • Insert your personal details, filling in all sections of the form
  • Tick the box which corresponds to the type of declaration required
  • Check that you have inserted all details correctly and fill in the section on self-certification
  • Click on "Process" and a screen will appear with the requested self-certification 
    All you need to do is print it out and sign it; it can then be used for all legal purposes.
